This guide provides support and advice to Australian schools to respond confidently and effectively to image-based abuse that involves AI deepfakes. This guide should be read alongside safeguarding and child protection legislation, policies and procedures relevant to your school and/or education sector.

A practical action plan for schools to support students, parents, guardians and carers. The plan is to be completed with the child/young person and their parents, guardians or carers. When talking about support arrangements it is preferable that the child/young person tells you what they need but in some situations their parents or carers might take the lead on identifying the support required.
