Swoosh, Glide and Rule Number 5

Swoosh and Glide education material can be used to teach lower primary students how to make good choices when they are online. Teachers can read the picture book to the class or read along with the video and then explore the puzzles with students.

The picture book follows the adventures of Swoosh and Glide who have a fun family sleepover with their sugar glider cousins. It explores some of the common online experiences of children, shows what to do when something unexpected happens on a screen, and highlights safe internet practices for the whole family.

Cyber Safety Project

Cyber Safety Project partners with schools and communities across Australia to embed proactive online safety, digital wellbeing and AI literacy education. Founded in 2017 by former teachers, we have worked with 250 plus schools and reached over 200,000 young people through curriculum resources, incursions, professional learning and family workshops. Our programs are built by educators, for educators, and cover topics from cyberbullying and respectful online behaviour through to image based abuse, deepfakes and AI literacy for students from Foundation to Year 12.
